The Last Leaping Fool

“THE LEAPING FOOL” winter writers’ series wraps up its final season February 20th at 6pm at the Orcas Island Winery. THE LEAPING FOOL is a community-based collaboration in which local writers, poets, and storytellers read short (6–10 mins.) pieces aloud at a candlelit gathering at the winery. The feeling is magical and honoring of the work being shared.

For our final theme and reading of The Leaping Fool, I N V O C A T I O N, we ask participants to explore through the use of language and sound, ways of manifesting. This is an age old method, yet each age has its own signature, let yours be known. Here we will look to the collective creativity to weave together the dynamic future we envision thriving in. Where are we now? And what can you imagine is possible?

The readings will be woven into a ceremony closing our three-year cycle of The Leaping Fool project. We thank each and everyone of you for showing up and supporting this outpouring.
